Brian Houston, the founder and former global senior pastor of Hillsong Church, revealed plans to launch a new online ministry and church with his wife Bobbie in 2024. This comes less than two years after his resignation from Hillsong due to disciplinary issues and allegations involving substance abuse, inappropriate conduct, and accusations related to hiding child sex offenses committed by his father. Despite his past challenges, Houston expresses excitement about building a new community and has been active in speaking engagements globally, particularly in the U.S. He is also working on an autobiography that he describes as “very authentic and transparent.”
